As Creative Director of Haymarket Business Media, part of the Haymarket Media Group, I led the overall creative direction, development, and brand identity for over 30 brands across print, digital, and events in both the UK and Asia. During my tenure, I collaborated closely with design, editorial, and commercial teams to complete more than 25 redesigns and new launches, enhancing various products and brand offerings, including awards, books, directories, and special projects.
As part of the senior management team, I was instrumental in managing design teams across multiple offices and fostering a deeper understanding of design’s value within the organisation. I focused on staff recruitment, management, and development, ensuring effective team structures for existing and new personnel. Additionally, I worked with IT and production departments to implement best practices and optimise workflow, while liaising with external suppliers to secure high-quality services at competitive rates.
My portfolio included brands such as Management Today, Marketing, Asian Investor (China), Autocar Professional (India), Campaign, Planning, Finance Asia (China), PR Week, and many others across diverse sectors, including business, finance, environmental, renewable energy, medical, and media communications. This breadth of experience enabled me to contribute to the growth and innovation of Haymarket's extensive portfolio in an ever-evolving market landscape.
