Fedrigoni UK, a renowned paper producer and supplier, hosts an annual calendar project in which designers are randomly assigned a numeral to interpret creatively. For the 2022 edition, I received the number 10.
Reflecting on my assigned numeral, I was inspired by childhood memories of watching my grandfather play dominoes. This pastime not only represents the simplicity of play but also evokes feelings of nostalgia and a connection to family.
My final illustration was printed in metallic ink on Fedrigoni Text Materica Quarz using HP Indigo technology.
