My design process begins with quick pencil sketches in a notebook, but in recent years, I have increasingly embraced the iPad and Apple Pencil. The character known as the Broken Boy originated from a series of simple drawing exercises aimed at familiarising myself with the iPad software.
As I refined the drawings, the character took on a life of its own, inspiring me to create a single-colour screenprinted poster. This poster was produced on G.F. Smith's Colorplan paper, chosen for its quality and vibrancy.
The project not only highlights my evolving design practice but also showcases the potential of digital tools in bringing characters and concepts to life.
